MadFest returns to the heart of Chania’s Old Town for a two-day celebration of music, culture, and immersive experiences — plus a bonus day dedicated to Workshops, soon to be announced!
This year’s edition takes place at the iconic San Salvatore Bastion — a historic Venetian fortress that blends architectural heritage, panoramic sunset views, and cultural depth. A setting where music meets history.

MadFest kicks off with feel-good vibes and rhythm from sunset to sunrise!
🎶 A sonic journey of Melodic House, Tech House, and Techno, featuring top international and local artists.
The party starts at 17:00 at San Salvatore and after 23:00, it continues until morning at the official after party at Cabana Mare Nightclub.
🌅 Sunset sessions, deep grooves, and a summer vibe like no other.

🎤 Pop Celebration with the legendary Helena Paparizou
👑 Special Guest: KLAVDIA
Day two culminates with two iconic voices of the Greek pop scene.
Helena Paparizou, winner of Eurovision 2005, delivers a powerful performance full of emotion, energy, and timeless hits.
Joining her is KLAVDIA, Greece’s representative at Eurovision 2025, in a historic concert under the stars.

🔸 Day 3 – Κυριακή 31.08
Σε συνδιοργάνωση με τον Δήμο Χανίων και την Περιφέρεια Κρήτης, το MadFest παρουσιάζει μια ξεχωριστή Creative Day με 3 ΔΩΡΕΑΝ σεμινάρια, βασισμένα στους κύριους άξονες του φεστιβάλ: Μουσική, Χορός και DJing.
📍 Ανοιχτά και προσβάσιμα σε όλους, τα σεμινάρια απευθύνονται τόσο σε αρχάριους όσο και σε πιο έμπειρους συμμετέχοντες που θέλουν να εξερευνήσουν ή να εξελίξουν τη δημιουργικότητά τους.
🔹 17:00 – Tango Dance Workshop με την σχολή χορού 4tango.
Μια αυθεντική εμπειρία αργεντίνικου τάνγκο στα πλαίσια ενός σεμιναρίου που θα σας εισάγει στα πρώτα βήματα του πιο ερωτικού χορού.
🔹 19:00 – Επικοινωνία επί σκηνής με τον Μάνο Μαλαξιανάκη
Σεμινάριο που εστιάζει στη σχέση καλλιτέχνη–κοινού και στην ανάπτυξη ουσιαστικής σκηνικής παρουσίας μέσω της μουσικής.
🔹 21:00 – How to Become a DJ με τον Wolve
Εισαγωγή στον κόσμο του DJing, βασικές τεχνικές, εξοπλισμός και συμβουλές για τα πρώτα σου βήματα στα decks.

🔹 Εκτός από το κυρίως πρόγραμμα, στο πλαίσιο του φεστιβάλ θα πραγματοποιηθεί και το Ancestral Flow – Improvisation Dance Workshop, ένα μοναδικό αυτοσχεδιαστικό εργαστήρι σύγχρονου χορού που γεφυρώνει το αρχαίο με το σύγχρονο.
Η Σοφία Πουρνατζή, γνωστή και ως Medusia, καθοδηγεί τους συμμετέχοντες σε ένα 6ωρο σωματικό και συναισθηματικό ταξίδι, εμπνευσμένο από τις ρίζες της παραδοσιακής κρητικής μουσικής και την εξέλιξή της μέσα στον χρόνο.
Το εργαστήρι συνδυάζει σύγχρονες χορογραφικές πρακτικές με τις κρητικές καταβολές της Medusia και θα πραγματοποιηθεί υπό τη ζωντανή συνοδεία experimental κρητικής μουσικής.
